Cookie policy

nordsek.eu stores very little in your browser, and nothing for analytics or marketing unless you agree first. This page lists every category, what it does and how long it lasts.

Last updated Sep 15, 2026

When you first visit, a banner asks which cookies you allow. Nothing beyond strictly necessary storage is set until you answer, and "Only necessary" is as easy to choose as "Accept all". You can change your choice at any time through Cookie settings in the footer. Your choice is kept for 180 days in a first-party cookie named nordsek_consent, then we ask again.

Strictly necessary

These make the site work and need no consent. The nordsek_consent cookie remembers what you allowed. If you close a notice, for example the suggestion to switch to your country site, the site remembers that in your browser's local storage so the notice does not return. If you submit a form, a short-lived technical token may be set to protect the form against abuse. None of these identify you and none are shared with anyone. Your language is part of the address you visit, so there is no language cookie.

Analytics, only with consent

If you allow analytics, we load a tag manager that sets measurement cookies so we can see which pages are read and how visitors move through the site. Without consent the tag manager receives a denied signal and sets no cookie. The figures are aggregated and used to improve the guides and comparisons.

Marketing, only with consent

If you allow marketing, the same tag manager may set cookies that tell us whether a campaign brought visitors who went on to compare. We use this for reporting on our own campaigns. We do not sell advertising space on nordsek.eu and do not use these cookies to show you ads elsewhere.

Third parties

Fonts, images and scripts are served from nordsek.eu by our hosting provider. Analytics and marketing tags, when you allow them, are provided by Google Tag Manager and the services configured in it; their processing is covered in the privacy policy. When you follow a link to a provider or to a country comparison, that site's own cookie policy applies.

If this changes

If we add a new category or a new provider, we update this page first and ask for your consent again where the law requires it.

Where we compare

Compare in your own country

Comparison happens where the products are sold. Each country site is written in the local language and lists providers licensed in that market.
