What the service is
nordsek.eu is an information and comparison service operated by Nordsek Oy. It explains how consumer financial products work and, on the country pages, compares products from licensed providers. Nordsek Oy is not a bank, lender, insurer, investment firm or intermediary and provides no financial product itself.
No advice
Everything on the site is general information. It does not take your circumstances into account and is not a personal recommendation, an offer or an invitation to enter into any contract. Decisions about financial products are yours, and you should consider seeking independent advice before making them.
Accuracy
We take care to keep information accurate and current, as described in our methodology and editorial policy, and we correct errors when we find them or are told of them. We cannot guarantee that every figure is correct at every moment: providers change their terms, and the figure that applies to you is the one in the provider's offer, not the one on this site.
Providers and third-party sites
When you follow a link to a provider or to a country comparison, you leave the pages governed by these terms. Any application, contract or product is between you and that provider, on that provider's terms. Nordsek Oy is not a party to it and is not responsible for the provider's products, decisions, service or website.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Nordsek Oy is not liable for loss arising from reliance on information on this site, from the unavailability of the site, or from products or services obtained from third parties. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law of your country of residence, including liability for death, personal injury or fraud.
Content and intellectual property
The text, images, design and code of this site belong to Nordsek Oy or its licensors. You may read, print and share links to pages for personal, non-commercial use. Reproducing content elsewhere requires our written permission, except for short quotations with attribution.
Comments
You may comment on guides. You are responsible for what you post. We review comments before publication and may decline or remove any comment, in particular spam, abuse, personal data or promotion. By posting you grant Nordsek Oy a non-exclusive right to publish your comment on the site.
Changes to the site and these terms
We may change or withdraw any part of the site at any time. We may update these terms; the date at the top is the date of the current version, and your continued use after a change is acceptance of it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Finland. Disputes are heard by the District Court of Helsinki, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence and your right to bring proceedings there. Consumers may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
